Stott Elementary School is a PK–5th grade school located in western Arvada. Its mission is to educate and empower every student. At Stott, there is a strong commitment by every staff member to support student learning through authentic learning, differentiated instruction and involving parents as partners. With data-driven instruction, the school is able to meet the needs of every learner.
Programs at Stott range from academic to enrichment. Every teacher has been trained in the district-approved curriculums for reading and math.
- Art, music and physical education (AMP) classes are available to all K–5 students.
- After-school activities include enrichment classes and clubs, including our competitive robotics club.
- Fifth-grade students can join band and orchestra classes and also have the opportunity to plan and produce our weekly school news broadcast.
- K–5th grade students work on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) projects tied to curriculum in the Tinker Lab weekly.
- Our student council focuses on projects to build our school community while positively impacting our neighborhood and the world around us.
Stott is also equally committed to supporting the needs and development of the whole child. In a caring, welcoming and respectful environment, students are proactively taught social-emotional skills throughout the school day.
